Summary Of Kitty Bingo
In May 2012 the slots and casino site Spin And Win, owned by Daub Alderney, added a bingo channel to their service. However just five months later, that bingo channel was closed and a new site and brand established - Kitty Bingo. Originally using proprietary software it offered players access to 75 and 90 ball games as well as a bundle of top slots. This set up made Kitty stand out from the crowd alongside it's sister brands at Lucky Pants, Bingo Extra and Giveback. However towards the end of 2020 the latter two brands entered Dragonfish purgatory whilst Kitty and Lucky Pants drew the long straw and joined Virtue Fusion. This move essentially made both brands sister sites to Mecca Bingo.

The Kitty Bingo site has had several redesigns over the years but all the way through it's featured a whole bunch of kittens and cats. However that has recently changed (August 2024) when yet another site makeover has aligned the site design in the same style as it's bigger sister at Mecca Bingo. Whilst that's an understandable move, it does also takeaway some of the personality of the brand. Unfortunately UKGC rules have meant that bingo brands can't have personality. That said the site is clean and easy to traverse even if it is lacking in the moggy department. Kitty Bingo is designed for mobile, tablet and desktop. No app is required!
Kitty Bingo Welcome Offer
As well as a new look for August 2024, Kitty Bingo also has a new welcome offer. New players to Kitty Bingo can get a £30 bingo bonus when they deposit and wager just £10. Frustratingly there's nothing exclusive as many rooms are shared with either the Playtech platform or with Mecca Bingo and Lucky Pants. However that's not unusual for brands these days! Must Drop Jackpots dominate the homepage but under the 'Casino' tab you can access 100s of slots, Megaways, Slingo and Live Game Shows. Kitty Bingo Promotions
One thing that we liked about the original Kitty Bingo was it's daily specials. These included Weekly Shop, No Lose Win-Win Wednesday and The Big Dabber game on a Saturday. These games had sadly now been dropped. Another departure is the fun daily free to play Catford Square. This was replaced by the Kitty Wheel which could be spun once a day for free (as far as we know no deposit is needed). However even this now seems to be absent from the promos page. Currently the only promos listed at Kitty Bingo are the welcome offer, as mentioned above, and a bunch of free bingo games that are in fact part of the regular schedule.
Our Verdict
We've always liked Kitty Bingo as a brand and in our original review highlighted it as "an alternative to the usual Virtue Fusion and Dragonfish platforms". Sadly it couldn't survive with it's own bingo rooms and today it's now part of the Mecca network utilising Playtech/Virtue Fusion. In terms of keeping the brand going that's a good thing as we think Kitty deserves to be amongst the bigger names. However in many respects it does feel like Mecca Bingo-Lite which doesn't do it many favours. But that said we'd rather have a handful of quality sites along the lines of Mecca Bingo than several 100 doing nothing at all on other platforms. Hopefully a daily free to play game will be available for Kitty players to replace The Kitty Wheel.
