Summary Of Prize Land Bingo
Prize Land Bingo is the latest addition to the Dragonfish stable. It's not as new as you might expect because it's the phoenix emerging from the ashes of what was Iceland Bingo. The latter had been active since April 2016 but for whatever reason the frozen food retailers have decided to freeze their interest in bingo. Players from the old Iceland site can still login and access their accounts on the revamped Prize Land version. And for new and old players alike there's a little bit more on offer at this site than under it's previous guise.
Discover Prize Land Bingo
The new Prize Land Bingo site is pretty much a revamp of the old Iceland one. Even the logo is similar with 'Prize Land' replacing the word 'Iceland' above the big red bingo scrawl! Everything else is neat and nicely laid out but without too many surprises. The welcome offer dominates the top of the site whilst below there are a few good reasons to join. Popular slots, popular bingo games and the latest promotion cover pretty much make up the rest of the content. Overall it looks good. Players can play at Prize Land Bingo on mobile, tablet and desktop. No app is required should you wish to login whilst on Apple or Android handheld devices.
Prize Land Bingo Welcome Offer
New players are currently welcomed to Prize Land Bingo with a bonus bundle. Register, login and deposit £10 to receive a £40 bingo bonus. In addition you'll also receive 30 days of prize wheel spins. This bonus wheel guarantees you a daily prize of either free spins, free bingo or even tangible voucher prizes. The Prize Wheel is a big new feature of Prize Land and 30 days of spins is very generous. However just be wary as wagering terms do apply. For bingo bonuses this is the standard x4 but for games bonuses (which will include wins from spins) is a hefty x99. This x99 wagering terms is the highest we're aware of from any bingo brand.
Free Bingo & Bingo Rooms
Newbies to Prize Land used to be able to enjoy three days of free bingo simply by registering as a new player at the site. They could head to the Daily Doozey room after registration and play for bonuses. However this is no longer no deposit bingo as to access The Daily Doozey you now need to be a funded player. Funded players can find more free games thanks to the likes of Quids In and On The House. Inside the lobby you'll also find the usual mix of 52, 75 and 90 ball rooms which are standard on Dragonfish sites. The rooms include Sunny 90s, Chatterbox, Wow, Late Night Show, Big Fat 10, Rollercoaster, Bingo Roulette, Mystery Jackpots and Win Spins. The Freezer Room which was unique to Iceland also remains part of the roster.
Prize Rooms
The big difference between Prize Land Bingo and any other Dragonfish brand is the Prize Rooms. These 90 ball rooms offer tangible prizes for jackpot winners as opposed to a cash jackpot for the full house winner. The one line and two line prizes will be paid out as usual. At time of writing (July 2022) the site boasted three different rooms offering three different prizes: Ticketmaster Vouchers, Alton Towers Tickets and a Hot Tub. Tickets for these games cost just 10p or 20p which is good value. From what we can see there should be at least one big prize game every couple of weeks taking place on a Friday. This should have been a popular feature at Prize Land Bingo but the value of prizes seems to be declining, the number of rooms declining, frequency of games dropping and the price per ticket increasing.
Featured Slots
Slots do feature at Prize Land Bingo. Click on the relevant tab to access top titles such as Fluffy Favourites, Starburst, Rainbow Riches and Fishin' Frenzy. The slots aren't that well categorised as the only options are Jackpots, Daily Jackpots and Hidden Gems. There are no categories for new games, popular slots or things like Slingo and Megaways. In fact the best way to see the slots is via the mini-games panel which appears to the right of the bingo games. From there you can find the latest titles and also use search to locate other titles. Our advice is to use the favourites option so you can quickly find the slots you love to play.
Prize Land Promotions
With the Prize Wheel and Prize Rooms it's safe to say that Prize Land Bingo gets a big tick in the player promotions box. However there is more! As mentioned they've retained the exclusive The Freezer bingo room which offers nearly £400 in jackpots daily. You also have the chance to win spins on Fluffy Too thanks to the Win Spins room. There's also plenty of free bingo including the network £250 Sunday Game and £1000 Monday Game. The Big £10,000 - another Dragonfish Network promo - is also part of the site. Qualifying players who receive tickets get the chance to play for £5000 in prize pots and/or share a £5000 pot for losing tickets.
Our Verdict
Iceland Bingo may have been frozen out but Prize Land Bingo looks to be a hot newcomer in it's place. It's good to see that they've not only kept the classic elements which made Iceland what it is but they've added to them. The Prize Wheel itself is a nice option although the x99 wagering terms are much too high in our view. However it's the prize rooms which really make this site stand out from the crowd. For just 10p a ticket players have the chance to win some exciting prizes. If this feature gets enough support then we could well see bigger and better prizes up for grabs. And that might shake other Dragonfish brands to run similar offers too! Sadly that's not looking likely to happen.
