Pots Of Luck Casino Returns On ProgressPlay

Whilst there seems to be little appetite from any quarters to launch brand new slots, bingo or casino brands, there is still activity when it comes to previously established brands relaunching. In recent times we've seen the likes of Dream Bingo, Bingo Loft, Fantastic Spins, Jazzy Spins, Slingo and Spin Genie all return to their relevant sectors on new platforms and sometimes new owners. The latest brand hoping for a comeback is Pots Of Luck. Originally launched in 2016 as one of the main Nektan brands it's stumbled along since Nektan's demise without really finding it's feet again. It's now hoping for better success on ProgressPlay.

The move to ProgressPlay means that Pots Of Luck players now have access to slots, casino games, live casino and sports betting. This is a significant upgrade on it's previous life. Long term observers will remember that Pots Of Luck was one of the first Nektan brands to introduce a bingo channel. In 2019 bingo arrived care of Pragmatic Play's plug-in product. The new Pots Of Luck site however doesn't have bingo - yet. ProgressPlay have teased a new bingo product that we're assuming is going to be their own as opposed to one offered by a third party. If that's the case then it may be add some much needed life into the bingo market although getting a new bingo platform established won't be easy. If it does end up being bingo powered by Pragmatic Play then we'd not be overly impressed.
Is ProgressPlay Any Good?
We're going to be honest and say we're not a fan of ProgressPlay Casinos. We've promoted numerous brands and platforms over the years and ProgressPlay are right up there with Jumpman Gaming for not being great for us as a business. Because of this we do limit the number of brands we feature here on Loquax Bingo, which can make life interesting because it does limit the number of brands we can promote. Interestingly we're being squeezed out from promoting big brands like William Hill and Bet365 but at the same time the bottom is being squeezed because it's full of dross. Anyway don't take our word for it. Trustpilot features a lot of scathing reviews about the ProgressPlay platform. These are worth reading but - as with a lot of casino brand reviews - tend to focus on withdrawals and uploading of documents. For comparison Jumpman Gaming have amassed 393 reviews and a 1.3 score whilst ProgressPlay have 48 reviews and a score of 1.5. Both have 92% of their reviews at 1/5. PotsofLuck.com does have it's own Trustpilot review page and the scores aren't much better although all reviews are pre-2023 and are the previous platform.
Should You Try Pots Of Luck?
There are some positives for trying Pots Of Luck. They're on a new platform, they'll want to attract and keep players and not want anyone to have a bad experience. The trouble is they're also on a platform with loads of question marks. If you've already had bonuses from 1 Sportsbook or 5 Casino brands already on ProgressPlay then you won't be eligible for the welcome bonus. You can still join but they'll just be no bonus for you on first deposit. If you do deposit then note the casino welcome offer has a x50 wagering term, which is one of the highest in The UK (Jumpman are higher at x65). As far as we can tell there are no withdrawal fees and the minimum withdrawal is £5. Overall the best we can probably say is that it's a better option than Jumpman Gaming but there are better platforms too. If you are looking to take a closer look then deposit small amounts and try before you really buy-in.
